i know no one prolly gives a shit about it (or half the posts on my blog)
but my debugging skills are greatly improving! i’m starting to notice more
and that’s a shock since i don’t really say often that i am “good” at
anything. :-D

Horrible horrible writing block today. I need to update my code to a new
framework, which is a royal pain in the ass since that involves changing
YOUR code just because they changed THEIR code. So i sit there, viewing the
daunting task ahead of me and as soon as i decide to take the plung and
start typing boom, disconnected, attempting to reconnect. Since i work on a
virtual machine on the network, if my net goes down, i don’t work. train of
thought and momentum completely shot >.

So i have 1340 lines of code. 150 lines contain the attribute called
“name”. These names have a common naming convention of
firstname-lastname-secondlastnameifexists. I need to change all of the 150
lines to firstnameLastname. So this involves searching through every line
for the name attribute, deleting the hyphen, and capitalizing the next
letter after it…. help?
